Welcome to the TWU Dental Hygiene Program

Texas Woman’s University (TWU) offers a Bachelor of Science Dental Hygiene (BSDH) degree in two programs: 

pre-dental hygiene curriculum is also available for which any TWU student may declare as major. TWU's course - ZOOL 2031/2033 is equivalent to Anatomy I and Physiology I or Anatomy & Physiology I and II.

  • Dental practices that specialize, such as periodontal, pediatric dentistry, and orthodontic practices

  • Hospital dental clinics
